Kimunya Arrested Over Alleged Abuse Of Office

Former cabinet minister Amos Kimunya was arrested by detectives from the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission moments after the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko authorized that he be charged with abuse of office and fraud. Tobiko had directed that Kimunya and two others be prosecuted for an alleged disposal and acquisition of land belonging to the ministry of agriculture. This was when Kimunya served as the minister for lands. And as Sally Mbilu reports the former influential minister will be arraigned in court on Monday.
