Boko Haram kill 20 in Borno State,Nigeria
Zobo.ng MAIDUGURI— 20 people are reported killed and 10 others injured when gunmen suspected to be members of the Boko Haram group launched vicious attack on Logomani village in Dikwa Local Government Area of Borno State.
Reports reaching zobo.ng said the militants were dressed in military uniforms as they carry out their attacked. The armed men reportedly stopped motorists on the road and ordered them out of their cars before shooting them or hacking them to death. Witnesses told the zobo.ng reporters that thy suspect the men were from Boko Haram, though the Islamist militant group has not yet commented.Soldiers were said to have later pursued the insurgents into the forest around Ngamboru Ngala.
It is to be reaclled that last month, up to 50 students died when suspected Boko Haram militants attacked an agricultural college in the north-east.The Nigerian military said in August that it might have killed the group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau, in a shoot-out.However, a video released last week purportedly showed him alive which thus suggest that other previous reports of his death later proved to be unfounded.
